April 4, 2022

He is the radiance of the glory of God and the exact imprint of his nature, and he upholds the universe by the word of his power.  After making purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high, having become as much superior to angels as the name he has inherited is more excellent than theirs. Hebrews 1:3-4

We are praying for each of your Easter services on April 17, 2022. We pray that the name of Jesus will be lifted high!

2nd Quarter Celebration!

Mark your calendars for May 9th to attend our 2nd Quarter Celebration. We will be meeting at Community of Faith church. Watch for further information.

A Note from Anson:

A couple of churches in our area have felt a special call to build wheelchair ramps for the homes of folks who don’t have the resources to provide their own ramps. St. Marks Episcopal and our own Oakridge Baptist in Portland have been doing these projects for years. St. Marks has a two-year waiting list for ramps. Mr. James Bell of Oakridge says, “If only four or five Baptist churches would build only two or three a year it would make a great difference…[w]e would really love for anyone to join us or we could show others how to build ramps.” For more on this, contact Oakridge Baptist Church in Portland. 361-643-4253

We are pleased to announce the following churches have called new Pastors:

Fellowship of Oso Creek - Pastor Greg Isaacs

Primera Iglesias Robstown - Pastor Raymond Flores

Lindale Baptist Church - Pastor Tom Penny

Northwest Baptist Church - Pastor Mark Crisp

North Bay Fellowship - Pastor Allen Harris

We rejoice with each church and pray that you will grow together in unity!
